Mary Edith Dearinger

March 10, 1921 ~ July 25, 2002

Funeral services for Mary Edith Dearinger, 81, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 1- a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2002, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary Edith Dearinger was born March 10, 1921, in Henry County, Ind., and died on Thursday, July 25, 2002, in Chickasha. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Mary Edith (Wooten) Dearinger

Funeral service for Mary Edith Dearinger, 81, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2002, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary Edith Dearinger was born the daughter of Newton Dephra Wooten and Lucy Kyser Wooten, on March 10, 1921, in Henry County, Indiana. She died on Thursday, July 25, 2002, in Chickasha.

Mary married Lowell Dearinger on August 12, 1939, in Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1998.

Mrs. Dearinger worked many years at Fort Benjamin-Harrison Finance Center Indianapolis, Indiana before retiring. After retiring, she moved to Country Squire Lake in North Vernon, Indiana. On July 30, 1996, Mary and Lowell moved to Chickasha. She was a member of the Christian Science Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phoebe Alice Wicker.

Survivors include: son and wife: Stanley and Dearinger of Chickasha; son and wife: Michael E. and Jane Dearinger of Chickasha; daughter: Laurie Johnson of Sparks, Nevada; son and wife: Steven and Kazuko Dearinger of Riverview, Florida; sister: Julia Vivian Ramsey of Greenfield, Indiana; sister: Camilla Cramer of Wilkinson, Indiana; brother: Jean Wooten of Lake Wales, Florida; nine grandchildren: seventeen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
