Maria De La Garza

Maria De La Garza
January 24, 1978 ~ October 24, 2019

Maria De La Garza, 41, passed away in Durant Oklahoma on October 24th. Maria was born to Jose and Maria De La Garza in Monterrey Nuevo Leon on January 24, 1978.

Maria was of the Catholic faith and a very hard-working mother, she loved her children. Maria moved to Durant in 1995, she enjoyed working out and cleaning, she also enjoyed watching television in her living room. When Maria did something, she did it right, she never left something half done. Her work ethics impeccable. Many people enjoyed her company and loved her. She will be missed by so many especially her children.

Maria is preceded in death by her grandmother Maria Ochoa Perez and her grandfather Jose Rodriguez Cantu, Jose Louis De La Garza.

Maria is survived by her parents Jose Antonio De La Garza Lerma of Monterrey,NL,and Maria Elva Rodriguez Ocha of Durant, OK.,her husband Marco Antonio Garcia her daughter Jocelyn Alejo, husband Alfonso Martinez of Durant, OK; son Joshua Alejo partner Beverly Valencia of Dallas, Texas, Son Jose Alejo Jr. of Durant, Ok., son Marco Garcia II of Durant, OK., Daughter Cloe Garcia of Durant, OK. Sister Rosa Elva De La Garza and Husband Rogelio Hernandez, sister Karina De La Garza and husband Jose Buendia of Durant, OK., brother Marcos Antonio De La Garza of Monterrey, NL.

Thank you to all who took their time to see her and be with her, God has gained a wonderful angel that will be watching over us. – Marias Family

Family will welcome visitors Tuesday October 29th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Browns Funeral Service Durant. Funeral Mass will be at St. Williams Catholic Church Wednesday, October 30th at 4:00 PM officiating is Father Carl. Services are under the direction of Browns Funeral Service of Durant, online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
