Shirley Ann Davis, 74, passed away on November 27, 2010 with her family by her side. She was born January 5, 1936 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Orville and Minnie (Dutton) Floyd.
Shirley retired from Southwestern Bell after 36 years of service. She was a selfless mother and friend, kind and generous to all. Shirley was devoted to her family and loved being a grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Tim Davis; her sons, Barry Davis and Kelley Davis and his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Stacey Threadgill and her husband, Randy, and Jamie Carpenter; brothers, Allen Floyd and Orville Floyd and his wife, Lorraine; 12 grandchildren, Cortney Threadgill-Yousif and her husband, Sharif Yousif, Blake Threadgill, Joshua Davis, Jonathon Davis, Ashton Carpenter, Rylee Carpenter, Colton Davis, Daniel Davis, Alli Carpenter, Rebecca Davis, Joseph Davis, Hope Davis, Ashton Carpenter and Rylee Carpenter; and 2 great grandchildren, Kaila Yousef and Raya Carpenter.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, TJ Floyd.
