Robert “Bobby” Lee Davis, age 67, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away April 19, 2020 at his home in Perry.
Bobby was born on August 11, 1952 in Perry, Oklahoma to Floyd “Jack” Thomas and Opal A. (Frazier) Davis.
He grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1971. Bobby was still in contact and active with many of his classmates. He loved Perry’s 16th Celebration to reconnect with all of his classmates and friends that didn’t live in Perry any longer. Bobby loved being with his friends and classmates.
Bobby loved hunting, fishing, relaxing and being with friends and family at Lake Carl Blackwell in Stillwater, OK. He was a member of the Paradise Cove Recreation & Camping Club at Lake Carl Blackwell. Bobby was also a member of First Baptist Church of Perry and a member of the Perry Alumni Association.
He loved his family more than anything and couldn’t wait for family reunions, family dinners and/or any reason to be with his family. Bobby never met a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back if there was need. Bobby’s laugh and smile were so very contagious and his hugs were even better. He was loved by many and will truly be missed by all .
Bobby worked as a Mail Room Clerk at Claim Logic in Oklahoma City, OK for the last 12 years.
Survivors include his three brothers: Tom Davis and his wife Carolyn of Perry, OK, Jim Davis of Perry, OK and Johnny Paul Davis and his wife Dana of Edmond, OK. Bobby had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that were his pride and joy.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jack and Opal Davis, and his sister in law Vernona Davis.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
