Ronald Elzie Davis was born September 19, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Earl Cansler and Elzie Davis. He passed away May 8, 2017 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 19 days.
Ronnie grew up in Dallas, Texas where he attended school. He later served in the US Army and after his discharge he returned to Dallas. He was employed with Xerox for 13 years and also did construction and carpentry work. After retiring, he moved to Canute to be near his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his 3 children, Michelle Davis of California, Roxanna Mayo, of Dallas, Texas, Sandra Glossip and husband, John, of Canute, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jesse Davis, Cody Mayo, Aleesha, and Mayo, Mackenzie Mayo, Jarrick, and Hawkins, Tyler Elkins, Kaylee Elkins, Christian Elkins; his great grandchildren, Gage Matthew Luke, Brianna Deasha Luke, Rylie Mayo, Jaden Gonzales; a brother Bobby Ellis, of Royce City, TX; a sister, Penny, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
