Richard Alvin Davis was born to Ernest Davis and Mary Louisa (Purser) Davis. He departed this life on November 20, 2020 at the age of 93 years, 10 months and 24 days.
He married Enid Imogene McReynolds on December 18, 1945. To this union were born two children Dorothy Lenora and Richard Eugene.
Richard dedicated his life to Jesus Christ at an early age and lived a life in service to Him until his death. He was a dedicated student of the Holy Scriptures and studied them all of his life.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Imogene, his parents, Ernest and Mary, all of his siblings, Howard, Roy, Leonard, Agnes, Earl, Louella and his granddaughter Rachel Unger.
Richard is survived by his children; Dorothy Bowen and husband Glenn, Richard Davis and wife Carolyn, six grandchildren; John Bowen and wife Cindy, Elizabeth Bevers and husband David, grandson-in-law Craig Unger, Michael Bowen and wife Diana, Regina Thomas, Stephen Davis and wife Susan, Daniel Davis and wife Alice and several great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their descendants.
