Services for Ossie Louis Davis, 46, of Thackerville were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2 in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
Born December 30, 1971, at Corcoran, California, the son of James Louis Davis and Manuela Maria Meraz, he died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in Medical City, Denton, Texas.
A resident of Love County and Cooke County, Texas for the past several years, Ossie was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the Chickasaw Travel Plaza at Thackerville, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. His hobbies included running marathons and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Issac Davis.
Survivors include his mother, Manuela Odell of Indio, California; two sons, Jeremy Davis and Brandon Davis of Marietta; three daughters, Jazmin Davis of Los Angeles, Alexi Davis and Brooklynn Davis of Pottsboro, Texas; two brothers, James Davis and Jerome Davis; sister, Chantell Odell; and two grandchildren, Harley and Ella, and another one due in October.
Honorary casket bearer was John DeMoss.
