Kerri Sue Davis (Thompson)

Kerri Sue Davis (Thompson)
June 28, 1961 ~ April 24, 2017

Kerri Sue Davis (Thompson), 55, left her earthly home on April 24, 2017 at her home in Oklahoma City.

She was the daughter of Carolyn and Paul Specht and Leroy and Sharon Thompson.

She was a graduate of Midwest City High School in 1979. After completing high school, she worked at Tinker Air Force Base in shipping and receiving operations. She had a very caring heart and spent many years showing kindness and genuine love to those in need. She made the best homemade mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. Some of her favorite things to do were fishing and spending time outside. She loved sitting and playing "Brian's Song" on the piano. Since her cancer diagnosis in February, she was the happiest she'd ever been in her life. She was overjoyed that she was able to attend her son's combat medic graduation last month and was able to go on a vacation and spend quality time with her loved ones. She cherished her two children and three grandsons.

Kerri leaves behind her daughter, Amber Bricker (Tippit) her son, Josh Tippit and wife Jessica; three grandsons, Brodi, Colt and Boston; her parents, Carolyn and Paul Specht, Leroy and Sharon Thompson; her sisters, Wendi Ramsey and husband Del, and Lori Briggs and husband Scott; stepsisters, Laurie Harris, and Marcee Beam and husband Terry; four nieces, Alyssa Ramsey, Haylee Stubblefield, Maegan Beam, and Kenzie Briggs; five nephews, Chase Stubblefield and wife Jordyn, Easton Ramsey, Tyler Ramsey, Harris Beam and Ky Briggs; and Aunt Glorianne Lovett, Uncle Larry Thompson, Uncle Richard Thompson and wife Cindy, Uncle Phil Thompson and wife Maryann; many cousins and her very dear friend, Norman Smith.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; her uncle David Diltz and her Aunt Barbara Thompson.

Kerri's memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at 11a.m. at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 300 N. Air Depot Blvd., Midwest City, OK 73110.
