Fred M. Davis was born June 20, 1925 on a farm in Winterset, Iowa to Archie and Goldie Davis. He passed away in OKC on June 26, 2015.
He married Oleta Mantooth on May 23, 1945 in OKC, OK.
Fred proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years during WWII.
He worked at Townley's Dairy as a milkman and later as an accountant, starting his own tax and bookkeeping business out of the family home. He was treasurer of the Oklahoma Opry Association for several years where they were active members of several fan clubs. He and his wife and friends traveled to every state except Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard "Rusty"; wife, Oleta, after 67 years of marriage; and two brothers.
He is survived by son, Dave and wife Teresa; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Mike.
Viewing will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 9AM to 9PM, with family present from 4PM to 7PM, and Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 9AM to 9PM, with family present from 11AM to 1PM.
The funeral will be held at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6606 NW 16th OKC, OK at 10:30AM on Wednesday, July, 1, 2015.
