Elmer Dale Davis died in Woodland Monday, May 17, 2004, at age 90.
Born April 24, 1914, in Purcell, Okla., Mr. Davis had been a Yolo County resident for 58 years. He was employed by various grocery stores and for 20 years at U.C. Davis-Storehouse. He was a member of several Masonic organizations for over 25 years and was an active member of the Woodland Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Gordon Davis and family of Santa Clara, Ca.; daughters, Patty Burch and family and Karen Davis, all of Woodland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Floy Davis; and wife, Virginia Davis.
The family requests memorials be directed to Shriners Children's Hospital; or to Commandry Eye Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
Services: A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Woodland Christian Church. Burial will be at Monument Hill Memorial Park, Woodland.
