Bill Davis Of Apache, OK
A Memorial service will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Chris Stinnett officiating.
Mr. Davis passed away Thursday, August 24th, in Lawton, OK at the age of 80.
Bill was born October 10, 1936 west of Boone, OK to Thomas Porter and Mary Melba (Bradley) Davis. He attended Boone School and later graduated from Apache High School with the Class of 1954.
On June 15, 1958, he and Judy Edwards were married at the Methodist church. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this year.
Bill owned and operated the Rock Service Station for many years before beginning a career in the retail automobile business. He worked many years in Lawton before returning to Apache to work for Malone Ford.
Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served 17 years on the Apache Volunteer Fire Department. He had a great love for horses, raising cattle and going to the Apache Sale Barn every Thursday for the sale. His greatest enjoyment though, was spending time with his family.
