  Billie Joyce Davis, 76-year-old White Oak resident, passed away Monday October 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 4, 1948, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Joyce was a graduate of Pryor High School. She married Rodney Edward Davis on July 2, 1969, in Temple, Texas, they celebrated 55 years of marriage. She had worked in Texas, including the Union Carbide Company. Joyce enjoyed going to the casino, reading books, most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and all her family, including her chihuahua’s “Pete” and “Jake.”

The family includes her husband Rodney of the home, children, Melissa Davis of The Colony, Texas, Megan Lynn Davis of White Oak, and Rodney Edward Davis, Jr. of Broken Arrow, grandchildren, Alyssa Davis, Austin Davis, and John Curtis Southerland, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family is holding private services. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. “Vinita’s only locally owned and operated funeral home.”
