Funeral service for Alma Mae Davidson, 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2005 at the Epworth United Methodist Church.
Alma Mae Davidson was born November 23, 1909, near Elgin, Oklahoma to Druie and Francis [Snell] King and died October 21, 2005 in Chickasha.
She lived and attended school in Fletcher. She married Nathan Davidson on November 23, 1930.
Alma attended nursing school at the old Chickasha Hospital. She also attended nursing school in St. Louis at the Barnes Hospital form medical nursing for six months. She worked at the old Chickasha Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital for many years as the head registered nurse in Obstetrics.
She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. U.M.W. Group 3. She belonged to a travel club and traveled in the U.S., Europe amd Mexico. She went to Israel and Greese with a church group and made her last trip to Canada.
Alma was preceded in death by: husband: Nathan Davidson, one son: Carl Davidson, two sisters: Gertrude Bibb and Edna Williams, two brothers: Albert and Dick King.
Survivors include: two sons: Keith Davidon and his wife Wanda of Chickasha; Ronald Davidson and wife Charly of Chickasha; two daughters: Chloie Sue Rozell and husband Don of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Iris Simpson and husband David of Oklahoma City; two brothers: Howard King of SanDiego, California; Floyd King of Fletcher, Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren: Vick Hubbard, Larry Davidson, Dewain Davidon, Rusty Boswell, Dustin Boswell, Cindy Hoffman, Amanda Davidson and husband Warner Springet, Angela Davidson, Angele Berry and Terri Martinez; 15 great grandchildren: Jody, Rebecca and Allison Hubbard; Michael and Eric Davidson, Nathan and Austin Davidson; Shelby and Kristin Bayless; Russel Boswell, Sadie Boswell, Shaun Berry, Destre Berry, Eric and Lindsey Martinez; one great great granddaughter: Madison Boswell.
