Susan David of Lehigh, Oklahoma passed away in Denison, Texas on February 12, 2022. Susan was born on June 22, 1947 in Madera, California where she was raised and grew up. She was a retired United States Postal worker in Madera, California for over 30 years. When she retired, she fell in love with this beautiful State of Oklahoma and has lived here for over 16+ years. She has resided in Lehigh for over 12 years. Susan loved all animals and would take in any and all strays, feed, fix and take care of them. She loved to cook for her friends, family and neighbors. She also enjoyed shopping at her local stores in Coalgate for odds and ends that would put a smile on their faces. Susan for the most part kept to herself but she would always go out of her way to help someone in need. She was always grateful to those that would help her around the house and always go out of her way to make sure they felt appreciated. Susan always made an impression on anyone she chose to get to know!
Susan is survived by her niece Amberly Stillwell of now Lehigh, OK. Susan always considered Amberly her daughter. Also, brother Edward and his wife Dianne David of Allen, OK; brother Carl David of Madera, CA; sister Leann Orlando of Colorado Springs, CO; brother Chris and his wife Jeanette David (and children) of Madera, CA; and brother Danny David of Madera, CA. Great niece and nephew Brooke Stillwell of Colorado Springs, CO and Tyler Stillwell of Colorado Springs, CO. Dylan, David, Bella, Drea, Leo and Angel Strock of Colorado Springs, CO.
Susan is preceded in death by her father Edward David and mother Phyllis Ann David; sisters Phyllis Ann David and Judith Carol David.
Susan was the matriarch and cornerstone of her family and will be missed every second and moment of our lives until we see her again!
