Dina Faye Daugherty

Dina Faye Daugherty
October 14, 1970 ~ July 27, 2012

Dina Faye Daugherty was born on October 14, 1970 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She died on July 27, 2012 at her home in Cyril, Oklahoma at the age of 41.

Services are scheduled for 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with Gary Canfield, officiating.

Dina was raised and attended school in Elgin where she participated in many extracurricular activities including cheer leading. After graduation, Dina attended Cameron University as a nursing student.

She married Corey Whatley in 1992 and devoted her efforts to being a full time homemaker. Dina played an active role in her children's lives, finding it important to be not just a mother, but a friend they could confide in when needed.

In her spare time, Dina enjoyed riding horses and motor cycles, fishing, and proving to her friends and family that being late was an art, not a fault!

She was preceded in death by her son, Cameron Whatley, and her grandparents, Charles and Margaret Daugherty.

Survivors include her children, Kayla Daugherty of Fletcher, Jessica Daugherty of Elgin, Chelsy Whatley and fiance Keagan Still of Lawton, CJ Whatley of Fletcher, and Elyssa Whatley, also of Fletcher; her mother, Sharon Daugherty of Fletcher; grandchildren, Hailey Sewell of Fletcher and Braylon Still of Lawton; 2 brothers, Henry Daugherty and wife Jennifer of Fletcher, and Tracy Rowe of Elgin; 2 sisters, Michelle Clements and husband Obie of Fletcher, and Billie Jean Rowe of Sterling; nieces, Abigail, Elisabeth, Kandase, Kaitlyn, Haylee and Stormy; nephews, Michael, Joshua, Chase, Daniel and Trace; her fiance, Robert Williams of Cyril; an aunt, Charlene Lytle and a cousin, Charlie Lytle, both of Elgin, and many close friends.

Dina's online guestbook may be signed and condolences sent by visiting: www.whineryhuddleston.com .

Services may be viewed live on this website for those unable to attend.
