Christy Autumn Daugherty

Christy Autumn Daugherty
October 10, 1976 ~ November 9, 2024

A memorial service for Christy Autumn (Phillips) Daugherty will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma, with Pastor Mike Mitchell officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva, Oklahoma.

Christy Autumn Daugherty, daughter of Robert and Debra Snyder, was born October 10, 1976, in Stroud, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on the evening of November 9, 2024, in Burlington, Oklahoma, at the age of 48 years old.

Christy was raised in Davenport and graduated from Davenport Public Schools in 1995. After high school, she entered the workforce and for many years worked in retail sales, and eventually opened a daycare in her home. Later in life, Christy attended Southern Nazarene University for adult studies and obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2012. She used that degree to further her career as the Human Resource Information Systems Analyst for Charles Machine Works Inc. in Perry, Oklahoma, for 12 years.

After graduating high school, Christy married her sweetheart, Kenny, on July 4, 1995, in Davenport at the First Baptist Church. Throughout their marriage, they have lived in the following communities: Stroud, Cushing, Davenport, Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Covington and Burlington.

Christy dedicated her life to her husband who coached high school sports for the last 24 years, and to her four sons and the numerous activities that they all were involved in. If she wasn't attending a sporting event that her husband wasn't coaching, she was attending a sporting event for one of her kids and for several years it was both at the same time. She was an avid supporter of her family and everything they liked to do, and loved watching her husband coach their sons. She also enjoyed reading, playing games, spending time at the lake in the camper, and always loved being at all the family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Judy Phillips.

Christy is survived by her husband, Kenny, of Burlington; her parents, Robert and Debra Snyder, of Chandler; her parents-in-law, Ken and Sarah Daugherty, of Davenport; her children, Dylan Daugherty and wife, Hailey and granddaughter, Lynnlie, of Lucien, Oklahoma, Dalton Daugherty and wife, Bailey and granddaughters, Gracelyn, Brynleigh, and Leighton, of Wellston, Oklahoma, Drake Daugherty of Alva, and Derrek Daugherty and girlfriend, Sophia Aleshire, of Alva; her brother, Robert Snyder of Midwest City; her sister, Melissa Seeley and husband, Richard, of Chandler; and several other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the funeral home or for her two sons' education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Remembrances may be shared with the family at http://www.marshallfuneralhomes.com.
