Brandon Lee Daugherty

Brandon Lee Daugherty
Dec. 23, 1963 ~ March 29, 2014

ENID, Okla. - Brandon Lee Daugherty was born Dec. 23, 1963, in Oklahoma City and passed away peacefully at his home in Enid on Saturday, March 29, 2014.

Brandon moved to Enid in the mid-70s, where he grew up through the Enid public schools system and made many lifelong friends through various sports and school activities, graduating from Enid High School in 1982.

He remained in Enid and worked with his father in the coffee and beverage business through 2002, helping in the opening of Enid's first gourmet coffee shops. Nothing meant more to Brandon than his family, and he was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew. He raised three wonderful sons and was an important figure in their lives, coaching and being involved in many of their little league activities. Nothing made him prouder than watching his son play quarterback for Enid High School, breaking many team records. In recent years, Brandon had reconnected with past friends through Facebook and other social media, and this brought him great comfort and joy later in life.

He is survived by three sons, Cale, Connor and Lane Daugherty; father, Richard Daugherty; brother, Curt Daugherty and wife Cecilia; sister, Shannon Murray and husband Jason and two children of San Carlos, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary C. Daugherty, and grandmother, Emma Lee Daugherty.

Funeral service for Brandon will be 2:30 Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Vernon Lee officiating.

Memorials may be made to City Rescue Mission in Oklahoma City with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.

Condolences and remembrances to the family may be made at www.enidwecare.com.
