Celebration of Life Service for Leonard Dalton, 81 Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Friday October 15, 2021 in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Leonard was born March 17, 1940 in Stillwater, OK to Troy and Gussie (Nickelson) Dalton and passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at his home in Enid.
Leonard attended Enid Schools. On May 28, 1974, Leonard married Linda Boulware. He was a pool shark, and musician. Leonard’s last band was the Dalton Gang. In his younger years he traveled to different states to play in bands and at several state fairs. He loved playing cards, fishing, noodleing, riding motorcycles, and cars. Leonard lived life to the fullest!
In addition to his wife Linda, Leonard is survived by his children, John Dalton and wife Brenda, Cindy Dalton, Scott Dalton, and Penny Buzzitta and husband Steve; seven grandchildren John Dalton and fiancé Amy Proud, Amber Dalton, Danny Buzzitta, Celina Buzzitta, Devin Dalton, Dylan Dalton and Zoey Dalton; six great-grandchildren; Madison Cravy, Sydni Walker, Trinity Cravy, Ember Dalton, Della Rae Dalton, and Radley Dalton; one great great grandchild Koda Walker; and a sister Deloris Buck. Leonard was also survived by his 2 favorite dogs Maggie & Hiede. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Leonard’s family would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice for the amazing care they gave to him and to his family. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Elara Caring Hospice.
