Mary Ann Cypert, of Fayetteville, died peacefully in her home on September 24, 2004. She was born September 15, 1929 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Oren Campbell and Lillian Lewis Dalton Yoes. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gypsy Yoes and her parents.
A loving homemaker, birdwatcher and animal lover, community and church volunteer, she opened her home, her heart, and her kitchen to those in need.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 57 years, E.B. (Gene) Cypert; a son, Sandy Cypert, of Fayetteville; a daughter and son-in-law Robin and Bill King of Nashville, Tennessee; two grandsons, William Bowen King III and his wife Sarah of New York City, and Joshua Campbell King and his wife Julie of Nashville, Tn; one great grand-daughter, Summer Rachel King; devoted caregiver Tracy Madison Hollingsworth and the women of Preferred Medical.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Visitation with family will follow the service in the church library.
