Winston John Cutter

March 10, 1935 ~ June 04, 2021

Winston John Cutter, age 86 of Crescent, Oklahoma passed from this life on June 4, 2021. He was born on March 10, 1935 to Albert and Juanita Cutter in Crescent, Oklahoma.

Winston graduated from Crescent high school and later was sent to Michigan to do his CO work where he met Laura Bell Thompson and she snagged him up. Winston and Laura were married on October 12, 1958. He was a member of the Lord‘s church for 70+ years where he served as an elder at the 21st St., Church of Christ, the Village Church of Christ, and was a leader at the Crescent Church of Christ. Winston worked for AT&T for 42 years. In later years, he owned and operated his own business, Winston’s Custom Draperies, hanging drapes and blinds in several cities in Oklahoma and Texas. He also enjoyed working on the farm. He was an avid OU fan and enjoyed watching all types of sports with family and friends (BOOMER SOONER!).

Winston is preceded in death by his father and mother Albert and Juanita Cutter, wife Laura Bell Cutter, brothers Jack and Elwin Cutter, Sister Rose Mary Asltley, Daughter Robin McFarland and grandson David McFarland.

Winston is survived by his wife Daisy Davis Cutter, sons Winston John Cutter Jr. (Johnny) and wife Melissa, Kevin Cutter and wife Brandee, and grandchildren Rachael Weaver and husband Andrew, April Wire, Morgan and Mallory Cutter, Jeremy, Ethan, and Ashlynn Cutter. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters and a host of other loving family members.

The memorial service will be held Thursday, June 10th at 10:30am at the Crescent Church Christ located at the corner of Highway 74C and Broadway.
