Shelly Curtis was born on June 1st 1965 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Bob and Charlotte Jones and passed away on April 29, 2018, in Enid surrounded by her family.
Raised and educated in Enid, Oklahoma, Shelly graduated from Enid High School in 1983. She attended Northern Oklahoma College and graduated in 2002 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Nurse at Greenbriar Village and Highland Park Manor.
Shelly spent 13 years with her partner in life, Lance Rash. Lance was a loving and devoted caretaker and friend to Shelly and a Godsend to her and her family. Lance went above and beyond to always make sure she was comfortable and happy. No words can ever express the gratitude her family feels to him for all of the things he did for her.
Shelly is survived by her caretaker and love of her life, Lance Rash; Parents, Bob and Charlotte Jones of Fairmont; Children, Amber Bailey of Enid, and Karen Betchan of Enid; one Granddaughter, Alicen Betchan of Enid; two Brothers, Bryce Jones of Enid, and Rob Jones of Enid; Grandmother, Glendena Blosser of Woodward; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Shelly was met in the afterlife by her Grandmother Dorothy Smith Ward, and her best friend Wilma Rash.
Shelly requested that there be no ceremony.
