Dee Curnutt

November 14, 1937 ~ January 29, 2010

Dee Curnutt, 72, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away January 29, 2010. Dee was born November 14, 1937 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma the son of Joseph Franklin and Julie Rachel (Cagle) Curnutt.

Dee grew up in Wynnewood, OK leaving high school early to enlist in the Navy. He completed his education while in the Navy. Upon his discharge, Dee was in the shrimping business in Florida. He also worked in Prison Ministry before returning to Oklahoma where he worked as a truck driver for 14 years for Oklahoma County District 2. Dee was involved in Gideons International and an active member of Mashak Baptist Church.

Dee was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Aulbrie. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Montrastelle) Curnutt; children: Tom, Virginia Lee, Sherry and Jimmy Dee; grandchildren: Nick and Amy; sister, Ruth and sister-in-law, Charlotte along with a host of other relatives and friends including Bill Marler.

A memorial service to honor Dee will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at Mashak Baptist Church; 9701 S.E. 59th; OKC.
