Ortha Mae (Hyden) Cupp
April 19, 1943 ~ November 16, 2021

 Ortha Mae Cupp 78, of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the hospital in Madill, Oklahoma. She was born on April 19, 1943, in Mazie Bottom Chouteau, Oklahoma to the late Howard Oliver Hyden and Edith Mae Harp Hyden. In 1945 she moved to the Porter area where she graduated high school in 1962 and later attended college in Tulsa.

Ortha married Carnell Cupp on August 28, 1966, they had 2 children and Carnell passed away in 1985. They lived in the Springer, Milo and the Woodford area till 1988 when she moved to Ardmore and started Ortha Cupp’s home care service and retired in 2006. In 1995 Ortha helped start Four Paws Pet Setting Service with her daughter.

She is survived by her Children: Dawn Barbour and husband Ben, Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Shawn Cupp, Ardmore, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Chris Barbour and Presley JoAnna Milligan.

Ortha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Marie Yeats, Kat, Frances, brother; JD Hyden, granddaughter; Bre Sanders, niece JoAnna Sanders.

Service Pending. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
