Billy Frank Cunningham 77, of Cartwright, Oklahoma passed away Friday Morning January 17 2020 at Southern Pointe Living Center in Colbert, Oklahoma.

He was born March 15, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to William Howard and Lois Glen Hearing Cunningham.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother Joe Allen.

Frank proudly served in the United States Navy. Throughout his life he always was proud of his service and knew it would help others find purpose and duty.

He graduated from Allden Beauty College and was a hairdresser as well as being a Florist where he made his living working for others and owning his own bussineses. Flower Arrangements was his passion where he made several friends working in this industry and was also associated working flower shops with Cunningham Funeral Homes in Achille, Caddo and Colbert for several years with his longtime friend Carl Cunningham.

He spent many years in Wichita Falls and Dallas, Texas making his home in Cartwright in the later part of his life. Bennie and Imogene Carroll and Frank would travel everywhere together on numerous trips with various stories of their adventures. Frank loved to play the slots from time to time at the BPOE Elks Lodge at Denison Lodge 238 where he was a member for several years where he made many friends and would do anything for them and was a strong person and wanted to be remembered with fondness and love.

Surviving is his Son Thomas Cunningham and Granddaughter Sondra Cunningham both of Wichita Falls, TX. and Grandson Stephen Cunningham of Oklahoma City, OK. along with two Great Grandchildren. Also surviving is Charles Lee Davis and wife April of Cartwright, OK. and Grandchildren Justin, Bryan, Brytany, Gage and Nocona Davis and Great Grandchildren Hailey, Kaitlyn, Leighla, Emmalee and Riggen Davis, and Kynnlee Derebery.

He had a kind heart and soul and loved his Family and Grandchildren and touched everyone everyone he met and knew.

A Celebration for the life of Billy Frank Cunningham will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon January 24, 2020 at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon January 28, 2020 in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
