Riverse Leo Cundiff passed in peace on Friday, May 31st 2019 at his home in Wauhilla, OK. He was born March 16, 1946 in Siloam Springs, AR to Paul and Dorothy Cundiff.
He was proceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Cundiff.
He was a member of the United States Air Force working on flight lines to ensure the health and safety of all flight line personnel. He enjoyed his time working with the sleek spy planes and large B52 super fortresses.
He attended the University of Arkansas and was a passionate, lifelong fan of Razorback sports.
He married Sandra Deason February 21, 1970. The two were married for 48 years until her passing in September 2018.
“Shorty” as he was known, and Sandy are survived by their three sons; Bradly Cundiff of Stilwell, OK, Brian Cundiff of Columbia, MD and Brett Cundiff of Fayetteville, AR. 4 grandchildren; Chance Cundiff, Cole Cundiff, Bryson Cundiff, and Shade Cundiff, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was an active member of his communities volunteering as a little league baseball coach in Siloam springs AR and involved in his church, Bidding Creek Baptist Church.
“Shorty” is survived by two sisters, Sue Verser and Delores Jones.
He was proceded in death by one sister, Joyce Parkhurst and two brothers Daniel Cundiff and Donald Cundiff.
Memorial Services to be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Bidding Creek Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK. Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home ~ Stilwell, OK.
