Patrick A. Culver
November 5, 1944 ~ August 24, 2020 (age 75)

Patrick A. Culver, age 75, of Lawton passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

Patrick was born on November 5, 1944 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Ernest and Rhea Ferguson Culver. He was the first member of his family to attend college. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserve. Patrick was also a pilot with the Air Cadets. In 1967, he married Celeste Ellis. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocational Industrial Arts and taught high school in Oklahoma City and Lawton, Oklahoma. He was also a training coordinator for McDonalds as well as a machinist for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Lawton, Oklahoma and a training aids fabricator at Ft. Sill. Patrick participated in numerous mission trips to Mexico to build churches. In his free time, Patrick enjoyed hunting, skeet and trap shooting with long guns, handguns and bow and arrow. He was an avid sportsman and landscape artist in oils and watercolors, but most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Rhea Ferguson Culver; one brother, Roy Culver and two sister, Delores and Jean, Patrick is survived by his wife Celeste Culver of Lawton; two daughters, Rebecca of Spring, Texas and Wendy of Lawton and one son, Larry of Carrollton, Texas along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
