Celebration of Life Service for Travis Cue, age 38, from the Waukomis Community, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 14th at the Waukomis Gymnasium with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Travis was born on December 21st, 1985, to Donnie and Anita (Cordell) Cue. He passed away on September 5th, 2024, following a tragic accident. Travis graduated from Kremlin-Hillsdale High School in 2004 and later earned a degree in Applied Science for HVAC from OSU-Okmulgee. He worked at J.A. Benge, Dennis Plumbing, and for the past 10 years, service as the HVAC & Plumbing Contractor for Enid Public Schools.
Travis will fondly be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and community. He coached numerous little league teams, served as a church camp counselor, and was known for being the life of the party wherever he went.
He is survived by his wife, Hilary, his high school sweetheart, and their children: Teegan (11), Kash (6), and Georgia (1). Travis never missed a practice or event for his kids. He was an active attendee of Enid First Nazarene Church and enjoyed traveling with his family, aiming to visit all the states. Known for his selflessness and hard work, Travis could fix anything and was always ready to help others.
Travis is also survived by his parents, Donnie and Anita Cue; his brothers, Matt Cue and wife Leslie, and Nate Cue and wife, Kristen; his maternal grandparents, Iris and Cotton; his father -in-law, Joe Stengle; his mother-in-law, Sue and stepfather-in-law, Allen Shriver. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hilary Stengle for his children’s college education fund through Anderson-Burris. Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
