Linda Ellen (Perkins) Cubbage

Linda Ellen (Perkins) Cubbage
February 20, 1941 ~ June 4, 2016

Linda Ellen Perkins Cubbage died on June 4, 2016.

She was born February 20, 1941 in East Orange, NJ, the only daughter of Paul Love Perkins and Mildred Mae Marks Perkins. She suffered from scarlet fever and, at her doctor's advice, her parents returned to Bartlesville, OK.

Linda graduated from College High School in 1957 and wed Thomas Leon "Tom" Cubbage II in early 1962. They began married life in Norman. She became a mother in 1962 and focused the next 23 years on her family. When her youngest left for college, she started assisting the new OK Mozart International Festival and held several roles at OKM through 18 years. In 2005, she began work for Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra. Linda loved God, and no community was dearer to her than St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Bartlesville, where she was confirmed in 1992. She loved her role as grandmother "Mimi" and was immensely proud of the many talents of her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Tom; her brother, John Perkins; her daughter Cathy Casey and husband, Ken, of Houston; Mary and husband, Barrett Waller, of Tulsa; her son "TL" Cubbage III and wife, Nicole, of McLean, VA; and eight grandchildren: Sarah Casey, Darcy & Rowan Waller, and the Cubbages: Gretchen, Natalie, Celeste, Paul & Neil.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 2 at 1 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Bartlesville.
