Jeanne (Wiley) Crumrine

March 23, 1933 ~ September 9, 2005

Memorial service for Jeanne Crumrine, 72, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at the Epworth United Methodist Church.

Jeanne Crumrine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away September 9, 2005. She was born March 23, 1933 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of O. A. Wiley and Edna Lusk Wiley.

She married Gene Crumrine October 3, 1953 in Chickasha. Jeanne became an R.N., graduating from Oklahoma University School of Nursing in 1953, and spent most of her career as a school nurse for Chickasha Public Schools. She retired from that position in 1995 after 27 years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, O. A. and Edna Wiley, one sister, Joy Wiley Guthrey.

Survivors include: husband, Gene Crumrine, of the home and two daughters, Debby Romig of Oklahoma City and husband Dave, Lisa Smith of Chickasha and husband Tim, one son, David Crumrine of Oklahoma City, one brother, F. Dwaine Wiley of Chickasha, three granddaughters, Ashlee Smith, Taylor Smith, and Kelsey Romig, two grandsons, Carson Crumrine and Spenser Crumrine, one great grandson, Aubrey Gene Smith. A very special, heartfelt thanks goes to Meredith Townsend, surrogate daughter, and Hospice of Chickasha, especially Linda Lowery, Amy Wynn, Gina Glass and Bennie Mathews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chickasha or Friends of the Library.
