Robert Everett Cross

Robert Everett Cross
April 16, 1930 ~ April 25, 2020

Robert “Bob” Everett Cross was born on April 16, 1930 in Payne Co., Oklahoma and departed this life on April 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by family in Davenport, Oklahoma at the age of 90.

Robert was born to Arthur and Alma (Wright) Cross. Robert served this country and joined the Navy in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1954. Robert married Edna M. (Gibson) Cross on October 12, 1957 in Davenport, OK. He graduated from Stroud High School and then attended Oklahoma A&M for a few years. Robert loved to farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an extremely hard worker. He worked as the owner and operator of Cross DX for 23 years and then worked 21 years with the turnpike authority. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.

Survivors include his wife Edna M. Cross; his sons Tim Cross, Mark Cross, and Brett Cross; his daughter Tammy Craft and her husband Mitchell. His grandchildren Nikki Greenfield, Chance Cross, and Wyatt Cross and also his three great grandchildren Drake, Hunter and Fisher Reed. Robert was loved and will be missed by many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK. A guestbook is available to share your memories online at www.parksbrothers.net
