Michael Cress was born August 29, 1985 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Caroline and Tony Eston Dixon. He passed away March 18, 2017 at Burns Flat, Oklahoma at the age of 31 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Michael grew up moving with his parents throughout Oklahoma and New Mexico but spent most of his life in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. He graduated from Burns Flat High School in 2004. After graduation he began working in the oil field and continued until recent. The pride and joy of his life were his 3 children: Zayne, Toby and Aubrey. Besides spending time with his children he enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting skeet and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Paul Miller and one uncle, Roger Dixon.

He survived by his 3 children, Zayne Wyatt Cress, Toby Lane Cress and Aubrey Paige Cress; his parents, Tony Dixon and Caroline Dixon, both of Burns Flat, OK; 1 brother and 2 sisters, Tonika Brown and husband, Kevin, Holdenville, OK, Theresia Collins and husband, Dustin, Burns Flat, OK and Tony Dixon, II, Burns Flat, OK; grandmothers, Rosalyn Hughes, Elk City, OK and Monika Cress, Hobbs, NM and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
