Stanley Webster Creel
February 19, 1944 ~ July 2, 2018

Stanley Webster Creel was born on February 19, 1944 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was the son of Leroy Creel and Ruby Duncan. The first of five children, Stan was raised around the world as the child of a soldier. He graduated from high school in San Antonio, Texas. He owned his own business for a while in San Antonio before moving to Oklahoma where he met and married Sherry Duvall, the mother of his three children and eventually settling in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Stan held several jobs in the food service industry including Reasor's and Tyson Foods. He was proud to have worked for Tyson Foods for over 10 years and retired from there. He married wife Patricia Creel in 1997 and welcomed her three children into his family as his own. Stan liked Atlanta Braves Baseball, fishing and watching birds. He enjoyed Sudoku, crossword puzzles, western books and western movies. Stan loved spending time with family and spoiling his wife. Stan grieved the loss of three of his four siblings in the past 3 years. He was a member of Victory Southern Baptist Church.

Stan went home to walk with our Lord on July 2, 2018. Stan was preceded in death by his father Leroy Creel, his mother Ruby Duncan, his brothers Jim and Eddie Creel and his sister Sharon Roberson.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Creel, of the home; Step Mother Waneta Creel of Guthrie, Oklahoma; brother Daniel Creel and his wife Rhonda of Edmond, Oklahoma; his children Michael Creel of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Mark Creel and his wife Karen of Surprise, Arizona, and Melissa Bracken of Stilwell, Oklahoma; his step children Robert Scraper and partner Danielle of Miami, Oklahoma, Sam Scraper of Neosho, Missouri, and Nathaniel Scraper and wife Connie of Neosho, Missouri; his bonus daughters Jennifer Scraper of Neosho, Missouri and Heather Creel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his sister in laws, Anna and Shirley Creel both of Enid, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, Logan, Conner, Zoe, Chloe, Atticus, James, Ethan, Sarah, Zachary, Robert Jr, Tanis, Katira, Makayla, Jocelyn, Lexi, Isaiah, Isabella and Seara; Great grandchildren, Raelynn, Robert III, Aiden, Andrew, Kias and TJ; plus many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and extended family.

Services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Faulk officiating.

Final arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hart Funeral Home.
