Lloyd Waller Crawford

May 2, 1926 ~ April 20, 2018

Lloyd Waller Crawford, 91, of Bartlesville, passed on from this life at his home on Friday, April 20, 2018. Memorial services will be held at Bartlesville First Church on Thursday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Buz Wierick officiating.

Lloyd Waller Crawford was born on May 2, 1926 to George and Julia (Waller) Crawford in Pawhuska, OK. After high school graduation in 1944, he joined the Army Air Corp and was stationed on several bases in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Lloyd married the love of his life Ann R. Bush on March 5, 1949, in Pawhuska, OK. Their daughter, Mickey, was born in October 1951, followed by their son, John Bruce, in September 1957.

He re-enlisted in 1946, joining the Army National Guard when the Korean Conflict began, and was deployed to Korea. He came home to his new family in 1952. He attended Bartlesville Business College, where he received an accounting certificate, and went on to work for the Baughman Lumber Company.

In 1966, he went to work for Phillips Petroleum Company in their new Plastics Development Group. The family moved around with Phillips until he retired in 1986, upon which they moved back to Bartlesville.

Lloyd was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, Ann Crawford, to whom he was married for 59 years; three brothers, Clay, Willard, and Charles Crawford; four sisters, Irene Davis, Doris Sparks, Telitha Edmundson, and Cornell Crawford; and great-grandson Tristan Powell.

He is survived by one daughter, Mickey Ramirez & husband Reyes of Bartlesville, one son, Bruce Crawford & wife Susan of Bartlesville; six grandchildren, Kris Crawford of Bartlesville, Michael Crawford & wife Kim of Dewey, Jim Crawford of Bartlesville, Mindy Powell & husband Garth of Bartlesville, Bonnie Ramirez of Bartlesville, and Lloyd (Tony) Ramirez & wife Devan of Las Vegas, NV, as well as great grandchildren Shelby Mott, Delaney Crawford, John Crawford Jr., Ana Crawford, Trinity Dyer, Michael Crawford Jr., Andrew Crawford, Reese Powell, Dane Powell, and great-great grandson Ethan Gray.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Journey Home in Bartlesville or the Shriners Children's Hospital of your choice. Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org
