Carrie Lynn (Presson) Crawford

Carrie Lynn (Presson) Crawford
September 18, 1955 ~ January 03, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Carrie Lynn Crawford, age 63, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Pat Sutherlin officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Carrie was born September 18, 1955, in Enid to George and Mary (Murray) Presson, the middle of four sisters, Sharon, Nita, and Conni, and passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.

She grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1973, the same year she met the love of her life, soulmate and husband of 45 years, Jerry Crawford. They were married September 7, 1973, in Enid, where they made their home and raised their two beautiful daughters, Karma and Korina.

Carrie enjoyed the simple things in life and loved spending time with her family, her cats, going to garage sales. She especially enjoyed her job as the Deputy Court Clerk for the City of Enid, where she worked for over 20 years.

Carrie was not only loved by her family but the circle of those whom she has touched in some way is far greater. With her contagious smile and natural ability to provide unconditional love, Carrie won the hearts of all those around her. The love, laughter and even the occasional stern look will be forever missed.

Carrie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Delilah Murray; father, George Presson; and sister Sharon Hicks.

Carrie is survived by her husband Jerry Crawford; two daughters, Korina Crawford and Karma Stovall and husband John; two grandchildren, Brent Seymour and Jada Stovall; her mother, Mary McDaniel; two sisters, Conni Hughes and Nita Presson; mother-in-law, Jody Crawford; as well as many other family members.

Memorial contributions in Carrie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
