June 8, 1937 ~ January 3, 2014

Janice Estell (Thomas) Cramer, 76, of Bartlesville, died Friday, January 3, 2014 in Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the 1st Baptist Church in Bartlesville, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Janice may do so to; Hope Medical Clinic c/o Dewey Bluestem Baptist Church 327 E. Durham Dewey, OK. 74029.

Janice Estell (Thomas) Cramer was born June 8, 1937 in Bartlesville to Moses Lee and Wilma Lea (Grady) Thomas. She was raised in Bartlesville and graduated from College High School in 1955. In high school she became a candy striper and found her passion for helping people. She married the love of her life, Charles L. Cramer in 1955 and began her life as a mother and homemaker for which she took pride in. They made their home on a farm just south of Bartlesville where she raised their children teaching them life lessons and love. She was active in 4-H, FFA, sports, and numerous other activities that her children were involved in. She was their biggest supporter. Living in the country; she had a love for animals and raised many dogs, chickens, and cattle. She was active in church, teaching the youth, and thought it important for her children to go to church to learn how to have a relationship with God. She drew her strength and faith from God, and loved to tell the story of Him. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and going to the movies. Later in life she became passionate about her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by one son, Dennis Cramer of Ochelata, 4 daughters, Christy Cramer of Bartlesville, Angie Peter and husband Dan of Aztec, NM, Beverly Parker and husband Terry of Bartlesville, and Kelli Garza and husband Damien of Bartlesville. She was a proud mother, but wouldn’t hesitate to tell you of her 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friend from childhood, Alice Snell who she called “the sister she never had”.

She was preceded in death by her father Moses, mother Wilma, brother Richard Thomas, and husband Charles. Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org.
