Carolyn Cramer age 80 of Blanchard passed away at home on July 22. 2023. Carolyn was born on October 4, 1942 in White Earth, North Dakota to Pearl and Clarence Neset. She attended school there and graduated Valedictorian of the White Earth class of 1960.
Carolyn met Tim Cramer and they were married in Las Vegas on December 9, 1960. Tim was enlisted in United States Marines and Carolyn followed her Marine Sweetheart where ever duty called. They lived in numerous places throughout the country but each one had something in common- Carolyn made them feel like home. As their family moved, she had a knack for making each new place feel warm, familiar, and special for her kids. Homemaker was a badge she wore with honor. She was also a proud Marine Corps wife who, often let out an enthusiastic “Ooh Rah!” when necessary.
Carolyn and Tim settled in Blanchard, OK in the summer of 1984 and it was home ever since. She had a kind heart and always showed compassion to animals, sometimes she found strays, and sometimes they found her. She nursed countless animals back to health and always had a unique menagerie of pets. She fostered ferrets, ducks, and bunnies- if it crawled, swam, or hopped she was always happy to lend a helping hand. Carolyn was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and loved watching the games with family and friends. WHO DAT! ⚜ She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her Parents, Clarence and Pearl Neset, daughter Tammy Swanson, her brother Doug Neset, and her great grandson Azariah Tavangar.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Tim Cramer of the home. Her sons Greg Cramer and wife Jessica of Edmond, OK and Brad Cramer and wife Leigh Ann of Iwakuni, Japan. Her brother David Neset and wife Patty of Minot, North Dakota and sister-in-law Beverly of Stanley, North Dakota and son-in-law Tony Swanson. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.
