Carl Elmer Craine

Carl E. Craine, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, his 93rd birthday.

Carl was born in Mt. Morris, Michigan on May 30, 1928, to parents Walter and Henora (Frieburger) Craine. Carl enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve his country. Carl married Jacqueline Riley on May 27, 1950, in Michigan. In 2017, Jackie preceded him in death.

Carl was extremely intelligent and was always a guy that could absolutely fix anything. This is evident in his career, working as a machinist in the Aerospace industry, retiring from NASA. Upon retirement, Carl moved to Bartlesville to be closer to family. On August 15, 2018, Carl married Flora (Mann) McCabe in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Carl is survived by his wife Flora of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and a daughter Marilyn Dill of California. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives. Carl always loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Jackie, a son Steve, and a daughter Crystal.

The family will hold private memorial services and will inurn Carl’s cremated remains in Michigan. Cremation and arrangements under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
