Scott Craig, 42, of Denver, Colorado, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
He was born January 2, 1979 to Henry Michael and Ruth Ellen (Wilson) Craig in Greeley, Colorado.
Scott was raised in Shawnee and attended Shawnee Public Schools. He graduated with the class of 1997 from Shawnee High School. Scott attended Seminole State College and earned his Associate degree. He attended USAO in Chickasha where he earned his Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts.
Scott was currently working for Rocket Communications as a User Experience Designer. He worked as a freelance web designer for many years.
Scott enjoyed shooting guns, attending concerts, watching horror movies and documentaries, hiking and riding his fixed gear bike. He also was a talented artist, painter and photographer and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, H.C. Craig, Jr. and Wesley and Mary Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea Clayton of Denver; parents, Mike and Ruth Craig of Tecumseh, OK; 1 brother, Jeremy Craig of Shawnee, OK; grandmother, Dorothy Craig Roberts of Tecumseh, OK; uncle and aunt, Gary and Adoris Craig of Tecumseh, OK; aunts, Sharon Barnett of Tecumseh, OK and Donna McKechney of Choctaw, OK, uncles and aunts, Jim and Linda Wilson of Shawnee, OK, Jerry and Norma Wilson of South Dakota and Paul and Cindy Wilson of Oregon; cousins and other extended family and numerous close friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee with Reverend R. J. Stokes and Pastor Randy Moore officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
