Jackie Ray Craig II, age 54, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014. The family has held a private memorial service and is thankful for the support and prayers from all who knew Jack.
Jack was born on June 20, 1960, in Bartlesville, OK to Jack Craig and Jean Rodgers Craig. He grew up in Bartlesville and attended Sooner High, later working for Phillips Petroleum. In 1988, he and his wife Debbie married in Sedan, Kansas. In 1993, Jack founded Creative Graphics in downtown Bartlesville. He also served as the Executive Director for the Washington County Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Jack worked as a property manager for Gorman Management for the last 15 years of his career until he retired for health reasons.
Jack's family and friends knew him as a musician. He began by playing trumpet in the high school band and quickly progressed to garage bands and writing songs. He played many instruments, including guitar, keyboards, and drums. He performed at many events in the area with his bands: Sabre, The Mission, and Signs of Life.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Jean Craig; his wife Debbie Craig of Tulsa; his sister, Jeanine Ferenczy, and husband Bill of Athens, NY; his brother Jonathan of Oklahoma City; his daughter Rachel of Bartlesville; his stepdaughter Emily of Austin, TX; his six grandchildren and many family and friends.
His father, Jack Craig, preceded him in death.
