Wilford Don Cragun, formerly of Bartlesville, OK, was 79 and living in Pottsville, AR, when he died on June 17, 2021.

Wilford Don Cragun, was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Provo, Utah, to the late Rumel Cragun and Ezma Williamson. Don spent his early years in Provo and Springville, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Virginia and North Carolina.

He married Jodie Reaves, the love of his life, in the Manti, Utah Temple and they recently celebrated their 58th anniversary.

Among other jobs, Don worked at the Phillips Petroleum Research Center as an instrument craftsman (Bartlesville, OK) and Hartland Cement (Independence, KS). Over the course of his life, Don lived in Utah, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Jodie; son David (Barbara), daughter Kathy (Tommy) Alston, daughter Debbie (Randall) Blalock; and seven grandchildren, Kira (Sterling) Blake, Caleb (Diamond) Cragun, Brenna (Zach) Pribyl, Brandon Cragun, Lily Blalock, Zane Cragun and Jackson Blalock; three great-grand-children, Sylphrena, Wesley and Orion Blake; sisters Mary (Bob) Grover, and Carol (Gary) Chandler; and three brothers Paul (Peggy), James (Connie), and John (Julie).

Don was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a Bishop and a Temple Sealer. He and Jodie served a family history mission for the church. Most of all, Don would want to be remembered for his faith in Jesus Christ, his love of his fellow men, and his love for his wife and family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, from 9am-5pm at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville. Don’s family will receive friends that evening from 6-8 p.m.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 2, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1501 SE Swan Drive, Bartlesville.

Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
