Eldon L. Crabtree

March 2, 1944 ~ December 17, 2008

Eldon L. Crabtree, age 64, of Cartwright, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Mr. Crabtree was born on March 2, 1944, to Hugh E. "Pete" Crabtree and Georgie Lee Beal Crabtree at their home in Cartwright.

He married Marilynn Shadid in Sherman, Texas, on September 22, 1966.

Eldon graduated from Colbert High School and has lived all of his life in Bryan County.

He was a professional organic gardner, a welder and affectionately known by his customers as "the green man."

He was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Choctaw Nation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Marilynn, one daughter Mitsy McCulley, Cartwright and three grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mr. Crabtree will be held at the American Funeral Services Chapel, 107 N. Burney St. in Colbert on Saturday, December 20, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Lee Martinez.
