Alma Leigh Crabbe, 66, of Bartlesville, died, Friday in Bartlesville.
Alma was born the daughter of Eugene Hurbert and Nola Alma Mullins on November 27, 1949, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. She was one of 11 siblings who all preceded her in death. When she was 12, the family moved to Mesquite, Texas. Alma was united in marriage with Glenn F. Crabbe on February 22, 1969, in Mesquite and they enjoyed 47 years of loving marriage. During this time two sons were born. In 1984 the family moved to Terrell, TX, then to Sherman, TX, in 1989. Alma worked for Wal-Mart for almost 10 years before Glenn and she decided to retire.
Once retired they traveled the country coast to coast for three years before embarking on their second career with Camping World. They worked at several different Camping World locations for 14 years including Mission, TX, New York and Tampa, Florida. In 2014 they moved to Bartlesville to be close to their son.
Alma loved to work and interact with her customers and co-workers but once at home she liked to relax. She enjoyed genealogy, needlepoint and playing electronic games. But most of all she loved her kids and grandkids and spending quality time with them.
Alma is survived by her husband Glenn of the home, two sons, Phillip Crabbe of Dallas and Chris Crabbe and Shannon of Dewey and two grandchildren Braden and Bailey Crabbe both of Dewey.
She is preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Journey Home, 3406 SE Kentucky St., Bartlesville, Ok 74006.
Alma�s family will receive friends at the family home, 521 NE Fenway Ave., Bartlesville, on Saturday, April 2, from 12-2 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis the Davis Family Funeral Home.
