Tommy Ray Crabaugh passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 69. Tommy was born on May 23, 1955, to Wathena Sue Cusick and Kenneth Crabaugh in Bartlesville Oklahoma.
He graduated from Vinita High School in 1973. Upon graduation, he joined the Pipe Liners Union Local #798 and began work as a pipefitter welder. Tommy spent many years traveling the country as a pipefitter welder including the Alaskan Pipeline. He always came home with animated story telling of his adventures on the job. In 1988, his daughter Megan was born, the light of his life. Tommy moved to Las Vegas and married his wife Deborah in 1995. While in Las Vegas, Tommy was the head welder on several big projects including the lettering on top of the MGM Grand, the motorcycle on the side of the Harley Davidson Cafe, the camel on the Sahara casino and the M&M's Las Vegas.
Tommy retired in 2001 and moved back to Oklahoma with Debby and Megan. Tommy was an avid reader and was often referred to as a walking encyclopedia by his family. No matter what topic was brought up, Tommy was always well informed on the subject and had a strong opinion to share. He loved to cook, garden, photography, and watching his nieces and nephew's sporting events.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Deborah Crabaugh, Wyandotte; daughter, Megan Crabaugh of Wyandotte, and step-sons Jimmy Mathis of Las Vegas and Scotty Mathis of Ohio; siblings, Lisa Young and husband Steve of Oologah, David Cusick of Vinita, Dee Ann Cusick of Tulsa, Michael Crabaugh of Collinsville, Laura Crabaugh of Pryor, two grandsons; Alex and Anthony, numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Cusick; father Kenneth Crabaugh; his grandparents Ola Belle and Gene Crabaugh and Mabel Aleene and Harry Peale; sister Teresa Allen; aunt and uncle Cotton and Billie Gann
