Tina (Allen) Cox

Tina (Allen) Cox
March 27, 1956 - January 21, 2017

The Scriptures say, "Whoever would be greatest among you must be the servant of all." In that case, Tina Allen was indeed the greatest. Her servant's heart gave out on Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Wichita, KS, after a brief struggle with pneumonia. She was 60.

Tina Allen (Cox) was born March 27, 1956 in Enid, OK, the daughter of Melvin and Gloria Allen. She began her education in the Enid public schools, and continued it in Tonkawa, OK.

Tina worked for the Tonkawa Tribe maintaining the J.O.M. Building. In her spare time, she enjoyed being with kids, especially her grandkids. She was constantly helping others, and her home always had "guests" who needed help. She loved her "Lifetime" movies!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Gloria; sisters, Anjanette and Zoe; brothers, Floyd, Glen, Aaron, and Melvin Jr.; nephews, Steven Allen of Tonkawa and Bryan Beard of Fort Worth.

She is survived by brothers, Charlie Paul and Samuel "Sammy Joe" Allen of Tonkawa; sisters, Reba, Eva, and Stacy Allen of Tonkawa, and Joyce Beard and husband Mike of Fort Worth, TX; children, Charles L. Allen and wife Regina of Tonkawa, Marti Clement of Tonkawa, William Free Jenkins of Waggoner, OK, and Dalla Williams of Newkirk; grandchildren, November, Valerie, Samantha, and Leslee Allen, Robert and Bryce Clement, all of Tonkawa, Marques and Sylvia Delodge of Red Rock; 3 great-grandchildren, Oressa Allen, Priseis Allen and Marques Delodge Jr.; nephews Floyd Allen of Tonkawa, and Tony Beard of Fort Worth; neices, Gloria Allen of Tonkawa and Jennifer Beard of Fort Worth.

Tina's celebration of life will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Tonkawa Tribal Center at 2 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
