Larry D. Cox
September 3, 1949 ~ February 19, 2020

Larry D Cox age 70 passed away in his home during the early hours of February 19, 2020 after a long hard fought battle with respiratory issues.

Larry was born on September 3, 1949 in Dallas, TX to Carl Cox and Emma May Ruth Goulder. He is a retired Marine. Larry was married to his daughters' mother for 19 years and later married his current wife, Avitus Cox, whom he spent the past 24 years with.

Larry is survived by his wife, 2 daughters (Amber Hickson and her husband Chris, Kimberly Gunter and her husband Wade), 3 stepsons (Greg Brown and his wife Amy, Joey Brown and his wife Misty, and Raymond Brown and his wife Julie), and 13 grandchildren.

Larry's true passion was he and his wife spending time with his children and grandchildren. One of his favorite things to do is brag about his daughters' sports stories and was proud to add that he coached them of course. He also loved spending time outdoors, fishing, exercising, and playing games on his computer. Anyone who knew him knows he had a great sense of fashion which actually earned him the nickname, The Godfather.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, February 22nd from 5-7pm at his and his daughter's home located at 638 Boat Club Road Cartwright, OK 74731.
