Timothy Ray Cowan

Timothy Ray Cowan
May 26, 1950 ~ July 25, 2021

Timothy Ray Cowan passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the young age of 71. He was born to Ben Maurice Cowan and Dorothy Ray Hillhouse on May 26, 1950, in Boone, Iowa.

Timothy attended Northwestern University in Alva, Oklahoma. He loved fishing, hunting, and watching the Oklahoma State University Cowboys, but he loved spending time with his grandchildren more than anything else.

Tim is preceded in death by his father Ben Cowan, his brother Dan Cowan, and his son Jeremy Sherbon.

He is survived by his daughter Kaci Rich, his son-in-law Adam Rich, grandchildren Emerson and Silas Rich, his mother Dorothy Cowan, his sisters Jill Dale and Kathleen McBee, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Per Tim’s wishes there will not be a service. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Tim’s honor to his favorite charity, Ducks Unlimited. Checks can be made to Ducks Unlimited and sent to Kennedy Insurance or directly to Bartlesvilledu.org.
