Vivian Ann (Smith) Countryman
June 28, 1944 ~ March 26, 2019

Vivian Ann Countryman of Durant, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the age of 74. She was born on June 28, 1944 in Garden City, Kansas to Roland Smith and Ann (Hunger) Smith.

Vivian married the love of her life, Cleveland Countryman on August 7, 1978 in Palestine, TX. The couple spent over 40 wonderful years together. She worked as a secretary at the Welfare Department for over 31 years then at the hospital in Palestine for 10 more years. When she wasn’t at her full time job, you could find her helping Cleveland. She is of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed taking care of her husband and house.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Calvin Countryman.

Survivors include her loving husband, Cleveland of the home; daughter, Pamela Covey and husband Michael of Kemp, OK; son, Billy Countryman and wife Joni of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Sheanna Swan and husband, Robin, Bretton Covey and wife Jennifer, and Zane Countryman; great-grandchildren, Isabella Swan and Garland Swan along with other extended family members and dear friends.

There are no services planned at this time.
