Pauline Mary Coulter died peacefully in Cottonwood Healthcare, Woodland, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at age 79. She was a former Winters residence.
Born Sept. 3, 1921, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Anthony Joseph and Clara Louise (Guenther) Turk, Mrs. Coulter enjoyed various activities and reading. She was also a past member of both the American Legion and Moose Lodges of Woodland, and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She worked for Woodland Memorial Hospital as medical clerk for 10 years.
Mrs. Coulter is survived by her sons, Michael Coulter of Woodland, and Jerry Coulter of Bakersfield; and grandchildren, Richard Coulter of Sacramento, Pamela Lyons and husband Mike of Woodland; Michelle Colley and husband Tom of Tacoma, Washington; Christie Brown and husband Jim of Woodland; Jeri Lee Coulter and Sara Coulter of Bakersfield; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers, Herbert Turk of San Antonio, Texas, and Alvin Turk of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Coulter was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Coulter on July 24, 1995.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Woodland.
The family requests memorials be to Holy Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund, 503 California Street, Woodland 95695.
