Peggy Lynn Cosby age 59, of Newcastle, OK, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 13, 2018. Peggy was born on October 27, 1958, in Oklahoma City. Her parents were Virgil W. Hughes and Clara Mae Dilley. Peggy grew up with 10 other brothers and sisters. She lived in Midwest City and attended Midwest City High School. Peggy later started a family and lived in the OKC area.
At the age of 30, she married the love of her life, Kevin Stell Cosby. They were married on Feb. 14, 1988, in Seminole and in 1990 they made their home in Newcastle.
Peggy worked several years as an administrative assistant for ClimateMaster Inc. in south OKC. She later worked as a secretary for Kingsview Freewill Baptist Church in south OKC where she also attended and kept her church membership. Some years later while living in Newcastle, she worked as the church secretary for the Newcastle United Methodist Church. For the past several years Peggy could not work because of her failing health with fibromyalgia.
Throughout her life, Peggy enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed fishing, feeding the hummingbirds and she loved animals. Most of all, Peggy loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with them and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mother, Clara Mae Welborn,
Brothers, Ray
Sisters, Gretta, Becky and Lulu.
She is survived by:
Husband of 30 years, Kevin Cosby of the home in Newcastle,
Three children, Patricia Gillis and husband Jim of Del City, John Walker and wife Tiffany of Madill, Alex Clark and wife Melissa of West Linn, OR.
10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren,
Her siblings, Joe Edney, Vearl Hughes, Donna Jarvis and Kathy Parks, Kelly Davis, Viva O'Grady and Vera Savage.
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
