Joseph Robert Cornett, 54, of Collinsville, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 in Owasso, OK. He was born in Austin, TX. His parents were Henry Clay and Verna Lou “Bonnie” (Christian) Cornett. He had lived in Tulsa, OK before moving to Collinsville in 2019. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Collinsville. He had worked in shipping and receiving for 25 years having trained several people over the years. He had worked for Gear Products and Tulsa Air.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Faith Fellowship Church with Pastor Donta Cobb officiating.
He is survived by his wife: Treasa Anne Melton of the home. 3 children: Chase Cornett, Hope Cornett and Gage Cornett, 9 grandchildren, 1 brother: David Cornett, Ex-wife: Lori Skinner, sister-in-law: Laura Brown and her husband Bill and brother-in-law: David Estranda and his wife Cory. Several nieces, nephews, great-niece and a great-nephew also survive him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes or the American Heart Association.
